randomness...

My opinions, updates on my life, all sorts of "randomness"...

Just came back from staffing my last Young Judaea convention... It was such a wonderful convention, and the kids did such an amazing job planning it, that I know they're going to be okay once I leave, but that still doesn't really make leaving easier. Although some of them had already heard I was leaving (apparently they read my blog--who knew), it was tough telling the ones that hadn't heard. I know they feel a little betrayed, and I guess if I put my high school self in their place I would too, but I know I'm making the right decision.

Before YJ Winter Convention, I was in DC at the NAA Conference. Fun conference, plus awesome to be in DC & finally see Mom & Dad's new apartment, and friends from Nativ & Michigan that live in the area. At the conference I saw people I know from so many different places--Nativ, Pilgrimage, BBYO...even reconnected with a kid I went to Maimo with in 2nd grade! So fun. :)

And I've now officially been in my office for way too many hours, so I'm going home.
