My opinions, updates on my life, all sorts of "randomness"...

Campers left on Thursday, and now camp is pretty quiet. Mom was telling me about how when she was a kid, after the campers would leave her & Uncle Tommy would run around to the different cabins and find "treasures" people had left behind. Like a safety pin. Or a penny!! My initial reaction? Man, those staff did a way better job of cleaning the cabin than ours! But my next thought was to picture Mom & Unc as kids running around camp. How crazy is it, that I've decided (in a way) to follow in Grandma & Dada's footsteps? I really wish I could have talked with them about it... I never heard them talk about Camp Lynnwood, I only heard about it from Mom (or saw movies of it).

Tonight starts Tisha B'Av. I ate plenty for dinner, drank tons, and yet I'm already hungry/thirsty, just thinking about tomorrow. The CCFA campers don't come until afternoon, so it shouldn't be too long a day, but still.
