Just a quick "all's good" post. Staffing Birthright, so far an awesome group. We're spending New Year's in Tel Aviv, heading to Jerusalem tomorrow. Paying attention to the "situation", changing things as necessary, staying safe!
:)
Had a wonderful Chanukah, lit an oil Chanukia for the first time!
I know the media is making things sound crazy, but Marc & I are doing well, life for us is continuing as usual here. I'll be staffing another
Birthright trip for
Shorashim starting this afternoon, excited for trip #8!
I won't have regular email access during my trip, but I'll update when I can. Don't worry! :)
Shabbat Shalom from Jerusalem!
We're rushing around, as Shabbas begins, but I wanted to give you a quick "all's good I'm doing great." We're staying low-key this Shabbas, meals with just the three of us (Marc, Andy, & I), but somehow I decided that meant I should cook enough for 10...lol, oh well, tried out some yummy new recipes, always fun!
Well, things here are still great... Loving Israel, loving Marc, loving being here in Israel
with Marc... :) Work is still very part time, but I'm still enjoying it which is always good. Reuters actually did a piece on us the other day.
Check it out, you can see me in the video! I really hope that the company does well here...I just think it's such a great concept—a free tour of Jerusalem!
So check out this awesome pic:
Marc and I at Thanksgiving dinner back when we were on Nativ, and us at the Thanksgiving dinner this year :)
A few weeks ago I spilled a cup of juice on my laptop. I let it dry out for a few days and then thankfully it turned on again, but it's super hard to type now--the keys stick like crazy. Hopefully it won't get worse—I'm not really in any position to buy a new computer these days!!
Oh, so I finally got an American number!! Signed up through Skype. Sooooo awesome—unlimited calls. Really helping me feel more connected here.
Okay, well, that's all for now!
