My full-time work at STEPS ends this week... Kinda crazy, and not really ready for the pay checks to stop coming in. As of now, here's me plan for the next few months: taking a photography class at OCC (assuming I get in), substitute teaching at JAMD and different Hebrew schools, and staffing retreats. And, of course, I have the STEPS ski trip in February out to Colorado (or "Coli" as Jeff calls it). So that's where I'm at right now. Any other ideas, let me know...
I'm going to my friends Zac and Shana's wedding this week in New Jersey, then hopefully stopping in Pittsburgh to see people/see Jake's billboards. BTW, for those of you who don't know, my brother's picture is on billboard in Pittsburgh. Kinda crazy, right? I for sure need to take a million pictures.
All for now!
So fall has finally come. Not a crazy huge fan of the coldness, but I love the changing colors. Camp is beautiful right now. Not so much yesterday (rained all day--and I had 3 groups in a row!) but today was really nice. I'm trying to get as much work as I can in since the season ends in a couple weeks. No idea what I'm going to do after that--if anyone has any ideas, I'm open.
So on a totally different note, I entered this photo contest online a while back, and it seems that my picture has actually been picked to be published! Still not sure if this is a huge scam to try and get me to buy the ridiculously expensive hardbound coffee table book, but there's my picture, online, and it says it's in the book... Check out www.picture.com and search my name. And here's the question of the day: should I buy a copy of the book? It might be kinda cool to have a copy of a book with my picture in it, even though it's going to be a tiny part of this crazy huge book... I don't know...
Still not sure why my website isn't so much working... I'll try and fix that when I have time (also known as a couple weeks from now when I have nothing to do...)
Okay, that's all for now. I definitely spend too much time not sleeping, when I could be sleeping...
Just got back from playing with Shira Chaya Schon. Seriously, she is the cutest baby EVER. It's truly amazing to think that Kimmie and Bryan are parents. We're talking about the changing diapers, feedings in the middle of the night, buying cute baby clothes, 24 hours a day thing here. But they really are so cute with her, so that's awesome to see. Craziness...
Been working so much lately... When I haven't had groups, I've been helping with this marketing campaign (database stuff--not exactly my expertise, but I'm getting better). It's kinda frusterating, but if it gets us more business that'll be cool.
The weather (and yes, I am talking about the weather) has been so rediculous lately. It HAILED while I was working today. Just for a couple minutes, but there they were, little ice balls falling from the sky. Zantarra was going nuts (she works with me--from New Zealand)--she's missed winter the past couple years because of going back and forth between home and Michigan, so it's been awhile since she's seen hail. We were playing outside in it. Kinda not the best idea since I didn't have a jacket on, but fun nonetheless.
Okay, that's all for now. Peace. :)
